OUR STORY
ByJeanette was created by Jeanette as an outlet for her creative ideas. These have mainly manifested as mismatched earrings, and the occasional wall art. Her work is always evolving, so there will always be new things to come!
From her Melbourne studio, Jeanette creates one-of-a-kind unique pieces of art in the form of earrings. Almost all her earrings are mismatched, allowing for maximum creativity with each design. All Jeanette's designs are one-offs as she does not repeat designs, making her earrings little pieces of art rather than accessories.
Jeanette uses various mediums to create her art. These include, but are not limited to polymerclay and UV resin. Jeanette also sources many different materials to compliment her designs. Raw brass, acrylic shapes, semi precious stones, freshwater pearls, crystal and glass beads are just some of materials used.
ByJeanette strives to be environmentally sustainable. Packaging material such as tissue paper and bubble wrap are all recycled.
It is also important for ByJeanette to give back to our community. $10 from every pair of earring sold is donated to charity. Currently the organisations we support are Asylum Seekers Resource Centre (ASRC), Berrystreet and Save the Children. Donations are made biannually, July 1 and Jan 1.
